The SOHFIT 21 DAY Challenge – Strength Edition, is your roadmap to building strength and lean muscle. The Challenge focuses on making you stronger and fitter by combining structured workouts, clean eating principles (optional), and community, along with expert coaching for 21 days. Everyone! Yes, it’s suitable for all levels of fitness and wherever you are in the world. Designed by Sohrab and his team of expert coaches at SOHFIT.  This program will challenge you, level up your fitness and make you stronger if you have been training for a while. But, if you’re new to fitness or a beginner, the workouts will help you get started and learn movement.

The workouts for the upcoming 21 Day Challenge (Strength edition) will be based on certain specific training principles to help you get stronger, lose fat and improve your overall fitness. Through these 3 weeks, you will have your strength training days, cardio, and mobility days. Sunday will be your rest day. All the workouts will consist of two options; one for the experienced people and one for the beginners. Weights are mandatory for this program.

  • The SOHFIT APP is one place where you will have access to your complete Training Program. You will receive your workouts a week in advance and can do it at your convenience with videos. Workouts will be available on the SOHFIT App on the Sunday of a new week. Every exercise name is a clickable link, linked to the demo video. For instance, the workouts for the entire week of September 30th will be available on the SOHFIT App on Sunday, September 29th.
  • ZOOM LIVE Sessions – You can workout online on the Zoom Lives with our senior coaches who will guide you and check your form. There will be separate LIVE Sessions for both levels of fitness (Beginner and Intermediate/Advance)
    • MWF (Beginner): 7 AM & 7 PM IST
    • MTTF (Intermediate/Advance): 8:05 AM & 7 PM IST
  • You may also do the workout following the Recording of the Morning Zoom LIVE Session which will be shared with you and uploaded on the SOHFIT App
  • You will have 1 Week of access to all your Workouts on the SOHFIT App after the Challenge ends. This allows you to catch up on any sessions you may have missed

We do not believe in one size fits all approach to nutrition, so we do not provide meal plans as apart of the Challenge because it is a group program and everyone has different needs. But we will give nutrition guidelines specific to the Strength Edition and there is an optional nutritional tracking available if you take the plan with nutrition tracking.

  • Nutrition guidelines by leading nutritionist Kinita Kadakia Patel
  • These are Do’s and Dont’s, and not a meal plan. We will be following a 5:2 principle during the course of the program.
  • Optional tracking available – if you opt of nutrition tracking, you will receive feedback from the coaches on how to improve your meals

If you have opted for nutrition tracking we will ask you for daily summaries the end of the day of your diet and whether you have done your workout or not on the WhatsApp group

These summaries will be moderated by the SOHFIT coaches giving feedback where required and motivation.

If you have not opted for tracking we will still track if you have done your workout or not

 

While 3 weeks is too little of a time to see major changes you may expect an increase in muscular strength and endurance, enhanced body composition, improved joint health, and overall functional fitness. Achieving and maintaining these benefits requires consistency in training, proper nutrition, and attention to recovery during and post the Challenge.

  • Weights (At least 2 sets of dumbbells, kettlebells etc)
  • Foam Roll
  • Workout mat
  • Bench/Sturdy Chair
  • Skipping rope (if you can skip)

Please note weights are mandatory for this challenge. 

Tip: You need a range of weights (dumbbells and kettlebells) for this program for your upper and lower body movements so that you can be properly challenged. If you are an absolute beginner, we recommend keeping weights ranging from at least 1.5/2.5 kg pairs upto 7.5 kg or more. For people with access to a gym, you will be well covered. We highly recommend that people who have been training consistently for 2 years or more have wide variety of weights to challenge themselves.

The 21 Days combines workouts, nutrition, accountability and community.

You will be getting nutritional guidelines upon registration which will give you key do’s and don’ts’ to follow for 3 weeks (weekends being optional but encouraged). You will be put on a WhatsApp group with likeminded individuals who have the same goal as you and SOHFIT coaches, including Sohrab who will become your tribe for the next 3 weeks and keep you accountable and motivate you.

In regards to the workouts, one week’s workouts will be accessible to you in advance on the SOHFIT App for you to plan your workouts and day in advance. Additionally, we will also tell you how to approach the workout one day prior, whether you are working out on your own or on Zoom live or with the live recording.

At the end of the day, we request you to put your workout and food summary on the group to keep you accountable and to give you feedback. You will be surprised, but this truly helps keep you on track!

Yes, we accept all international card payments

No, there will be no bodyweight options and access to weights / gym is mandatory for the program.

Yes! We have participants from USA, Australia, New Zealand, Capetown, UAE, Europe, London to name a few.

The workouts should not take more than 50-60 minutes including your mobility and warm up.

The format and concept are completely different. The workouts in this Challenge are purely focused on enhancing strength. You will be working through different strength principles but will not be doing a lot of high-intensity workouts. Our 40-Day Challenge on the other hand is a combination of strength, cardio, and conditioning.

We ideally want you to get a run in but in case of unavoidable circumstances, we can provide you with alternatives. Request you to please let us know 24 hours in advance.

If you feel you can’t do a particular exercise, due to any limitation, please ask for an alternative on the group and the Coaches will help you. If you feel any pull, sharp pain, or discomfort during an exercise, please stop the exercise.

Yes, we will have an orthopaedic physiotherapist on board to assist you in case of any injuries, discomfort, or pain.

Given the nature of the Challenge, we would like you to just focus on the workouts given. You don’t need to do any cardio over and above that and expend more energy. That said, you can always get certain steps in and keep yourself active through the day. If there is any sport that you like to play, keep that for Wednesday and/or Saturday.

Our expert group of Coaches will be with you every step of the way to correct your form and help you do a given exercise the right way. We encourage you to join the ZOOM LIVE sessions to make sure that you are training the right way. We also urge you to send your videos and get form feedback from our Coaches. Joining the LIVE sessions will be quite helpful in this case.

Yes, you can. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned fitness enthusiast, this Challenge is structured for all levels of fitness.

Yes, we do. Deferral is only allowed in cases of illness or physical injury. To request a deferral, please email challenge@sohfit.com, and it will be reviewed based on management’s decision. You can utilize the deferral amount from the Challenge within 3 months.
